Bulugahagoda Ambalama The village of Bulugahagoda lies between Ragama and Ganemulla in Gampaha District. The schollers say that Bulugahagoda Ambalama was constructed 100 years ago for the pilgrims, traders and travellers to rest or spend the night in the ancient times in Sri Lanka. The Ambalama is 13 feet wide and 11 feet long. The roof is covered with Calicut clay tiles, and cement pillars are 14″x14″ in holds the structure. The traveller can reach the Ambalama on the way to the Bulugahagoda railway station.
